Little Indian

Hello Everyone,

Can't believe it's Monday again, but we did have glorious weather this weekend. which is always a bonus.  Me and Hubby went out on our bikes yesterday and accomplished 9 miles quite easily with two large hill climbs, so I think my fitness is paying off.  My jogging in the mornings is getting there, I'm still not sure I was meant to be a jogger but will have a better idea as I enter a new week which starts with interval training or 8 minutes of running, then walking to a straight run of 20 minutes by the end of this week, so we shall see.

My card today is for Live and Love Crafts and the little lady is a digi from Wee Stamps, they are sooooo cute.

I have added frantage and walnut stain distress ink to the edges of the image.

The gorgeous papers are one of my favourite sheets by Maya Design called Vintage Autumn Basics, XXII.

The leaf die is from Noor Design by Joycraft and I dabbed some snow tex on them to give them texture, and you know this is one if my favourties for adding texture.

A few more Noor Design dies on this card:-

The cute butterflies, border die across the centre bottom and then adorned with a flower arrangement of flower spray, magnolia beads and a Kort and Godt Chrysanthemum.

The filagree oval that the image is placed on.

On the edge butterfly border die, around the edges of the card

Some Candy and Chef Angelina.......

Hello Everyone,

When I was in Florida I met Christine from the Papernest Dolls at the Orlando Show and agreed to do a guest card, and this is what I came up with.  This little lady is called  Chef Angelina available from the Paper Nest Dolls Shop.

Christine has also kindly given me some stamps to give away as Candy, the fat free type of course, yum yum.  If you would like to win the stamps below, then please leave me a comment on this post.  Good luck.

The base of the card is made using a Go Kreate Die as the base.

The papers, oh so gorgeous are from the latest Pion Design My Precious Daughter available from Live and Love Crafts.

I have added some Frantage around the image and adorned with beautiful flowers, all from Live and Love Crafts.

The Lovely View Finder to the top right is a fabulous die from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps HERE.

As she is a Chef I have added the Friendship Recipe from Lili of the Valley and finished it off at the bottom with a a little rolling pin from The Ribbon Girl.

Little Maya

Hi Everyone,

It's Friday and it's been a hot week, not that I realise that until it's hometime, as I am lucky to be in an airconditioned office.  The weekend is predicted to be nice too, woo hooo, although to be honest there's lots of jobs needing doing around the house, but you just can't when you get a weekend of fabulous weather predicted, can you?

Don't forget Nikki at BunnyZoe currently has the Marianne Design Dies on sale at the moment and I have used one of the MD leaves dies, always handy to have.

My card today features the gorgeous Wee Stamps by Whimsy Stamps, I sooooo love these cute little images.  Her name is Maya and you can find find her HERE.

The papers are from the New Bebunni Christmas 6x6 paper pad.  So as you can see not just for Christmas but there are some gorgeous papers in there that match the new Bebunni stamp range.

Here's a close up of Maya, she's coloured in distress inks, which you can purchase from BunnyZoe HERE.  Nikki carries the pads, markers and re-inkers, so a one stop shop.

The Lace, Pink trim and flowers, twine, pearl are from The Ribbon Girl

The wooden chicken wire/honeycomb is from Dutchdoobadoo

The Prima Tap, cheesecloth and white gesso to paint the chicken wire are from Live and Love Crafts

Have a good weekend.

A Little Vintage

Hi Everyone,

I'm a little late posting today, put it down to the champagne and cocktails last night, lol.

Today's card is for the The Ribbon Girl and the challenge this month is Aqua.  I love this colour but decided to use a little vintage image from the latest Marianne Design image sheet which of course fits perfectly into their Flower Mirror die as can be seen in my card below.

From the Ribbon Girl I have used the Aqua Pom Pom, 4mm white pearl string beads, pink rose vintage style hessian Ribbon, Ivory Button Twine, Teal Mini Dahlias, Melissa Frances Lock Box Applique Resin which also comes with the little key which I have placed on the mini envelope (left), and 20mm resin flat back pearl.

The gorgeous papers are digital, yes digital from Michelle Roos Etsy Site HERE.  I have used the Vintage Garden set for my card but there are soooo many gorgeous designs.  I used the elements from this set too, the mini envelope, bunting and the bow at the bottom of the image.

Here's a close up of the little mini envelope with the applique resin key from resin set and one of the teal flowers attached to the centre from The Ribbon Girl.

A touch of gesso here and there, hehe.

Doesn't the new Marianne Design Die look gorgeous.

Here's the inside.  The Vintage Garden digital papers includes inserts, what a bonus!

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Daphne

Morning Everyone,

I know, my second post today, lol but what a beautiful image.  It's challenge time at BunnyZoe and this month Karina has prepared for us a Bingo Board, so hopefully you'll be able to hop on over and play with us.

I have used the gorgeous image "Daphne" by Whimsy Stamps.  I just love Sylvia Vets images, they are my favourtie images, always adorable and a joy to colour.

I have stitched around the card and the image, but it's hard to see in this photograph and believe me it was a major achievement for me to photograph, lol.  Everything that I was clearing out of my craft room ended up on the dining room table and floor so I had to clear space in order to set up my photo tent and lights, lol.

The paper is from the Marianne Design July release paper pad as well as the number 4, cut from the new numbers die.  My second use of this die today, so definitely needed for your stash.
