Did you all have a lovely weekend? Had a lovely 2 hour walk yesterday through the woods with Hubby and Ollie and it was quite warm. It was lovely walking through the woods with all the bluebells in full swing. I'm looking for to this weekend even more, it's my birthday on Friday so I've booked the day off work and as it's followed by a bank holiday Monday, so it will be a lovely long weekend, yayyyy.
The theme for the LLC Girls this week to follow is one we are all excited about, the new Pion Vintage Garden papers, the only difficulty I had was choosing which ones to use first. Well I am always drawn to blue so I have chosen to use the Flax 6 x 6 and Garden 12 x 12.
I have chosen this little Tilda that I won in a recent competition as she is ideal for the vintage garden collection sewing seeds. She has been colourerd with distress markers. All edges have been distressed with walnut stain and gesso. The wooden butterfly has been frantaged with the shabby blue.
Here's a close up and I have added some of my favourite snow-tex around the edges and 2mm some string pearls.
I have used the new metal roses and have placed them in the centre of each of the butterflies. The beautiful lace is called Lace Alencon.
I have added a magnolia doohickey wrapped so lovely tag and added some of that fabulous shabby blue seam binding, clay heart with a little frantage on it and one of the prima typo bulbs saying "Care".
I cut the little seed packet out and edged with walnut ink distress ink. All links are below the post.

I drool over your stuff. LOL!! Hey I was just wondering, when do you put the Gesso on? Do you do it as you add each piece or after the whole card is done? Also, do you use 2 coats or just one?
Oh you are so smart taking an extra long weekend for your birthday. How nice!!
Hugs!
Fantabulicious! Love all the little bits and bobs! Nicola x
Stunning Tracy ♥
I've not seen this Tilda before...she's a real sweetie-pie, and blue is my favourite colour...just sayin'.
Perfectly embellished as always

Oh my goodness, Tracy... just saw this over at LLC - it may be my favourite of yours ever! Partly because it's in some of my favourite colours, but there's just something so delicious about the layers round the top - that wonderful lightbulb, the heart and that fabulously shabby ribbon. Gorgeous inky distressing on the layered elements... all just perfect!!

Oh your stroll sounded wonderful! I have been drooling over this card since you posted it and unable to come over and tell you how perfect it is. I cannot believe that you created another card that is so beautiful and my style so that now I have another favorite! I love the colors and how you colored her so simple but she is 3D and so natural looking. Your embellishments are so pretty with the gorgeous papers too. Love and adore your design here too. Your coloring is just amazing to me.
Hugs Kelly

Tracy, another absolutely gorgeous card. I just love your shabby chic style. Wonderful colour scheme--I just love blues. Beautiful design. Those DP's are delish. Love the added texture with the gesso, frontage and snow-tex. Awesome colouring.

Again, another gorgeous card! I love your style! :) Nancee
Brilliant job with -in my opinion- the best sheet from Vintage Garden. I especially like how you placed the metal roses in the centres of the butterflies, gorgeous! Love how you matched the image to the papers. Sandy xx
