Just a Little Love

Hi Peeps,

I'm still trying to catch up and could do with more of these 4 day weeks.

It's challenge time at Crafts and Me for the Rubber girls and the theme is an easy one, "Happy Birthday".  I have used the new artist Robin Pushay's image called "Just a little love".

I added some clear microbeads and some blue/green microbeads.  I also added some smooch to her scales, but although it gives a shimmer in the light it also dulls the intensity of the colouring, so the depth kind of got lost.

Ingredients:

Hope you'll join us.........

Colouring Long Hair in Fine Detail Hop

Zoe's excited to be releasing another colouring tutorial and it is on a topic that everyone always seems to want to improve... Colouring Hair!!  And in particular this e-book is, 'Colouring long hair in fine detail!'
Colouring Long Hair Tutorial
When Zoe was trying to decide on an image that would be perfect for this tutorial she just knew she had to contact the gorgeous Krista Smith from Saturated Canary. And... Excitingly Krista has illustrated and generously donated the perfect character exploding with big luscious hair full of layers and bumps! Just perfect for you to learn all of Zoe's little secrets to colouring finely detailed hair.
We thought it would be fun to have a little hop (and a few give aways of course) where the fabulous MiC girls and Krista have followed Zoe's tips and tricks to colouring long straight hair.

This is my first attempt and nowhere as good as Zoe's,  I have to say that I had far more confidence by the time I started the right hand side, but I am going to keep practicing, practicing, practicing.

Open Book

 Hi Everyone,

This is another project I have forgotten to post on my blog, Oops again. I don't know if you have seen all the new 3D Chipboard projects that Zoe from Make It Crafty has designed but I am totally in love with them.  For this project I have used the Book.  It was extremely quick and easy to assemble and just look at the result.

The oval frame and corners are also from Make it Crafty and painted with white acrylic paint.

I have painted the open book with white acrylic paint and decorated using my favourite Pion Design papers.

The image is from Lili of the Valley, such a cute couple.

I have coloured the suit using C5, C3, C1, C0 and the dress using C3, C1, C00
Flowers B95, B93, B91
Leaves YG63, G20
Hair E53, E51, E50
Cheeks R22

I hope you like my project.

Have a good weekend.

I would like to enter my book into the following challenges:-

Crafting All Seasons - Stitching

Little Tilda

Morning Peeps,

I'm back again and with a Christmas Card.  I do like to get ahead of the game but seriously it's 32 degrees heat and some snow flakes to cool me down would be a good idea at the moment.  I was demoing for Crafts and Me yesterday and it was soooooo hot in the hall.  Honestly we moan when we haven't got any sun and when it arrives we moan again, seriously us Brits are never happy, lol.

I know my mind hasn't been on crafting lately and I spent 3 days trying to put this together, which isn't me really.  I'm not sure I've done this little Tilda justice, bless her.

Classic Couple

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for being MIA, been busy at work and I did do some DT cards but forgot to post them, oops!  I hope to get back to normal and will be catching up on all that I have missed.

This is my DT card for  Crafts and Me with the challenge of lace.  I interpreted this using the new lacy Marianne Designs Anja's Squares.  The image is from Crafts and Me called "Classic Couple" by The Stampsmith.  Love these black and white images. This card is also doubling up as my Marianne Diva's DT card which is Summer and I know your probably think how does this relate to summer...... well to me Summer is when most people get married and consequently when most people celebrate their anniversary, so da daaaaaaa.

The chequered tape at the bottom is another new release from Marianne Designs, PaperTape

The large petalled flower is from the Marianne Design Anja Square set and I have also used a combination of Marianne Design Leaves, links below.

I have added some large cream flat backed pearls from BunnyZoe.

Glossy Cardstock
Staz-on Jet Black Ink
Embossing Folder

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:-

Just some lines - layer it up
Sugar creek - Family
Sweet Stampin - Wedding or Anniversary
Chocolate, coffee and cards - Embossing
Craft Punked - Flowers
Stampinfortheweekend - Mono

Summer at BunnyZoe

Hi Peeps,

Hope you all had a fab weekend. I don't seem to have enough hours in the day at the moment, I could certainly do with another holiday, and speaking of holiday time the theme at BunnyZoe is "Summer", so I created this little scene

Sorry it's short and sweet but time is of the essence.  I'm also sorry I haven't got round to or even replied to some of you lovely followers at the moment, it isn't intentional, just my head is elsewhere and suffering from a severe lack of sleep.

Christmas in August and Stamps for Sale

Hi Peeps,

I'm back with yet another card and I know I'm a bit late for all the challenges with the theme of Christmas in July but better late than never and it's my first christmas card done, only another 99 to do, lol.  Look at this fabulous Christmas Tree, one of Marianne Designs new release dies. It's gorgeous.  I've added some liquid applique and stardust stickles to some added dimension.

The papers are from Marianne Designs Pretty Paper Bloc Warm Winter Wishes. The two adorable images are also by Marianne Design and if you are interested please email Nikki.

The gorgeous berries and Vintage green lace are also Marianne Designs along with the large snowflake in the top left hand corner and the postage stamps on the right, again please ask Nikki if you are interested in these. I have also added some flat backed pearls into the centres of the Tim Holtz snowflake edge.

On the subject of Christmas, I have had a sort out and have some stamps for sale.  I will add them to the tab at the top also.  I haven't put postage prices as it takes an age and then most have  more than one and I end up weighing them all again.  As a gauge because of Royal Mail's extortionate rates second class is around £2.20 excl. packing and £2.70 for first class excl. packing. However if you want more than one Hermes then become cheaper than royal mail with upto 1Kg being £3.19 and upto 2kg £4.19. If you are interested please mail me: crafteezee@gmail.com. You can pay by paypal, cheque or postal order.

Sharing an Ice-Cream

Hi Peeps,

I'm addicted to the Olympics, lol.  I am really enjoying watching the events, particularly the finals, so exciting.  Love the rowing, cycling and wow Jessica Ennis, she was fabulous, they all amaze me. My chores are taking longer to do as I have to keep popping back to the screen......

Well my kitchen cupboards are all fitted and now its just the tiling on the walls and floor and a lick of paint and it will be finished.  Probably Christmas by the looks of my bank balance.

I have for you today a card made mainly with Marianne Designs products.  The image is adorable and is called Sharing and Ice-Cream, don't know about you but I do love ice-cream. I have used my spellbinders labels Eighteen to cut out and mount.
.

The papers are from two different Marianne Designs Paper Pads, Vintage Paper Bloc Pastels and Vintage Journey. Love the aqua and purple together.

The leaves at the bottom floral spray Decorative Elegance and the leaves at the top are Anja's Leaves LR0226. Beautiful flowers can be found HERE.
