Hope everyone is well. All back to normal this week with the kids returning to school and me back to netball, ouch!!! Can't say I was looking forward to it as I haven't done alot of excercise this summer at all. God it killed me and I will probably be regretting it today and even more so tomorrow.
Today's card is using one of those gorgeous lili of the valley stamps, James the bear. He is sooooooo adorable.
I have used Tim Holtz Shabby Chic papers, love these double sided papers. All panels have been stitched. A colleague in work just can't believe us girlies stitch on our cards and she nearly died when I said that I only bought a sewing machine so I could stitch on cards, lol.
I have coloured James the Bear using copics and added distress inks around the edges, (broken china and walnut stain). I also used the colourless blender to create some spots on the pink parcels, think I need a little more practice, or a larger image. I have used my new punch around the edge Martha Stewart Snowflake punch, so dainty. The poinsetta's were made using the Marianne Design Dies. The Pearls and Pins were from my stash. All edges are distressed and edged with walnut stain distress ink and lots of start dust stickles, my absolute favourite.
I have entered this card into the following challenges:-
